Dowr is the Cornish word for lake, and we couldn't think of a more fitting name for this beautiful holiday home.From the moment we first stepped inside, it was the uninterrupted view across Jenny's Lake that captured our attention. Whether it's the early morning mist drifting across the water, anglers casting their lines as the sun rises, or the changing colours of the trees throughout the seasons, there's always something different to enjoy.

Dowr View is one of the few holiday homes at White Acres which is level with the lake.  Where you can simply sit back, relax and watch the lake gently unfold before you. It's peaceful without being isolated, giving you the best of both worlds—a tranquil setting with the gentle rhythm of the park quietly carrying on around you.​It was this caravan that helped us choose the name for our holiday business - Lake View Holidays Cornwall. 

It became important to us that any other properties that we added to our portfolio had to deliver something unique in regards to location.Whether you're planning a family holiday, a fishing break or simply looking for somewhere to switch off for a few days, we hope Dowr View will feel like your home from home.

One of the things we love most about Dowr View is that the scenery is never quite the same twice.

Spring brings fresh green leaves and new wildlife around the lake. Summer mornings sparkle across the water, while autumn transforms the trees into rich shades of gold and copper. Even on a crisp winter's day there's something wonderfully calming about watching the changing light across Jenny's Lake.

It's a view that encourages you to slow down, take a deep breath and simply enjoy being on holiday.
